Rutland - Dismas House (Women)

The Women's Dismas House serves female-identified individuals, primarily those involved with the corrections system or returning to the community after trauma. The house has a communal kitchen, a large dining room, a living room with a house television and computer, laundry facilities, single bedrooms, on-site staffing Monday through Friday, family-style evening meals, and hundreds of hours of annual engagement by community volunteers. The house is staffed by both a House Director and an Assistant House Director.

In addition to recovery supports and a sober living environment, Dismas provides case management around financial independence, improved physical and mental well-being, reintegration into and contributions to the community, healthy relationships with loved ones, and independent permanent housing.
